Before Vacation

One of my favorite moments of the year is when my peonies bloom. There are four peony bushes in our yard and I soak in every one of them when they bloom. Its just straight up awesomeness after a long winter. This year, I almost missed my peonies because of vacation in May. Don't worry. I took a friend's advice and cut the bulbs that hadn't bloomed and took those suckers to Florida. They bloomed while we were down there and two of my favorite times of the year collided into one huge amount of awesomeness.

The day we left for vacation, I tried to soak up some of the flowers from our yard.



I won't insult anyone by saying from our garden. Maybe next year I'll be able to say garden. Definitely not this year.
