Excuse me, pay attention please!
j is doing much better with the sleeping. We rearranged his schedule a bit and I think it's helped. He's gotten into this habit of waking up at 4am ready to party, but I'll take it for a little extra sleep the rest of the night. I usually bring him into bed with us at that time and he starts to settle and usually falls back asleep on his own.
Don't get me wrong, he's still waking up in the middle of the night. Usually around 11, then at 2 and then at 4 when he's partying. That may sound like a lot, but it's a huge improvement and I'll take it. Anyway, at the 2 wake up, I nurse him and while doing so I usually put my head back against the chair and close my eyes. Not any more. j decided that is unacceptable. The last two nights, I put my head back, he stops nursing and just stares at me with those big brown eyes wide open. He won't stop staring until I pick my head up and look at him. Once I look at him, he goes right back to nursing. Guess he likes the attention.
