Just a few happenings...
The other day j, Duke and I went outside to greet T when he got home. Normally Duke stays pretty close to us...unless there are deer nearby. I happen to glance out the back window to see the white tails of deer running away and Duke's black butt following after them. He was gone. No calling or yelling was getting him back. T and I set out in the cars to try and find him. No such luck. Thankfully one of our neighbors grabbed him and called us. Stupid dog ran right to me when I pulled up in her driveway. He was smiling like he just had the time of his life.
I was standing in the kitchen eating my lunch and watching j play in the exersaucer the other day. He bent down to chew on one of his toys. On his way down he hit his head on another one. He gave that toy the dirtiest look ever. It was hilarious. He promptly turned around and went after another section.
j slept five hours in a row last night. It was the early part of the night while I was awake for 4 hours of it and it took him an hour to get back to sleep afterwards, but it's a start. I doubt he'll do it again, but I quite enjoyed the surprise.
