Back the fall of 2009 I got an email from a lovely lady asking if I could photograph her family portraits.  Little did I know that I just met one of my most loyal clients.  She recommended me to everyone she knew and she knows a lot of people.  I would say for the first two years of my business probably half of my clients came on her recommendation.  I'm forever thankful and so glad we became friends.

Two months after I did her family shoot, she asked if I could take an extended family picture for Christmas.  I said absolutely!  Little did I know, we were starting a tradition.  Sometimes I wonder if I should be thankful for this certain tradition….

Well, the nice part of looking back at these pictures is that I feel like I've definitely gotten technically better at photography.  I would say maybe I need to work on more creative ways to pose everyone…but, let's be realistic.  Have you ever tried to take a pic of a bunch of young kids sitting still?
